Overview

AI agents are software entities that can be assigned tasks, examine their environments, take actions according to their roles, and adjust based on feedback—essentially “autonomous assistants” for your marketing workflows. In The Matrix AI, Agents apply business rules to your datasets, generate personalized outreach, run on your chosen schedule, and report metrics back to you.

1. Agents Dashboard

  • Agent Name & Role: Internal identifier and persona (e.g., “Product Promotion Specialist”).
  • Status & Last Run: Live state (Success, Error, Pending) and timestamp of the most recent execution.
  • Metrics Overview: High-level KPIs like total sends, opens, and click-through rates.
  • Actions: Quick links to view details, pause/resume, or delete agents.

2. Creating a New Agent

Follow a guided, four-step wizard:

  1. Agent Rules:
    • Select a data source (CSV/XLSX).
    • Define the agent’s role and goal (e.g., “Increase click-through by 15%”).
    • Add Business rules (e.g., last_purchase > 100) to target the right audience.
  2. Email Template:
    • Specify “From” address and choose a tone (Friendly or Professional).
    • Specify the Instructions and Signature.
  3. Preview Sample Email: System populates the Template.
  4. Execution Plan: System populates the Plan. then click " Submit " to deploy.

3. Monitoring & Metrics

  • Top-Level KPI Cards: Users Reached and Click Rate cards update automatically after each run.
  • Visual Breakdown:
    • Segment Distribution (Doughnut): Shows audience segments; hover for counts & percentages.
    • Engagement Over Time (Line Chart): Plots reach/click-rate trends; use time selector to zoom in.
  • Email Activity Table: Detailed list of sends with columns for Email, Segment, Status, and Open indicator.
