Getting Started
Overview
The Matrix AI is a fully-hosted SaaS platform that lets you spin up AI-powered marketing agents in minutes—automating personalized outreach and analyzing customer behavior via an intuitive web UI.
1. Prerequisites
Before you dive in, make sure you have:
- Account: An active The Matrix AI workspace.
- Browser: Latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge—any modern browser.
- Internet: A stable network connection.
2. Sign Up & Log In
- Open your browser and navigate to https://app.the-matrix.ai
- Hit the Sign in with Google button on the homepage.
- Select the Google account you want to associate.
- Review and accept the minimal OAuth scopes (basic profile & email).
- You’ll land on the Repository page. From here you can immediately start uploading data.
3. Product Tour
Once signed in, you’ll see three main modules in the left sidebar:
- Repository: Upload (CSV, XLSX), organize, preview, and version your datasets.
- Chats: Spin up interactive Q&A sessions—ask natural-language questions.
- Agents: Build and deploy rules-driven AI assistants— define data filters, craft message templates, schedule runs, and monitor live metrics.
4. Quick Start Tutorial
- Sign In with Google: Click Sign in with Google on the login page to authenticate using your Google account—no passwords required. Select the account and grant the minimal profile & email scopes to get started instantly.
- Upload Your First Dataset: Navigate to Repository and click the blue " + " button. Choose the provided sample file
Chocolate Sales.csv(or drag-and-drop it). Supported formats:.csv,.xlsx. - Explore with Chats: Go to Chats, hit " + " icon, name your session (e.g.,
Sales_Chat), and select your uploaded dataset. Then ask Dolly a natural-language question like “What were total sales by region last quarter?” - Deploy Your First Agent: Switch to Agents and click " + " icon to launch the four-step wizard:
- Agent Rules: Pick your data source, define a role (e.g., “Sales Specialist”), set a goal (e.g., “Boost CTR 15%”), and add Business Rules (e.g.,
last_purchase > 100). - Email Template: Enter a “From” address, select a tone (Friendly or Professional), and write your instructions and signature.
- Preview Sample Email: Review the auto-generated email.
- Execution Plan: Check the populated plan, then click Submit to deploy your agent.
- Agent Rules: Pick your data source, define a role (e.g., “Sales Specialist”), set a goal (e.g., “Boost CTR 15%”), and add Business Rules (e.g.,
- Monitor & Iterate
Immediately return to the Agents Dashboard. Click View Details to see live metrics—Users Reached, Click Rate, Segment Distribution, and Engagement Over Time.
